Another Silver Anniversary re-production by GLCT, this much loved story interweaves the lives of four sisters growing up during the American Civil War, and is based on Alcott's own experiences as a child in Concord, Massachusetts, with her three sisters, Anna, May and Elizabeth.

Liz Woodcock (Meg) is excited to perform once again in her favorite story of all time. Past roles include Jo in Little Women, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Nancy in Oliver, and Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress. Liz gives endless thanks to Shannon and the entire cast for the most fun a girl could have putting on a fantastic show!

Emmalyn Gladney (Jo) holds a B.A. in Music Theater and Acting/Directing from SOSU, and is currently working on two master's degrees, ( humanities & social work). Emmalyn is happy to be returning to GLCT where she has played Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, and Sabrina in Sabrina. Some of her professional credits include Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Snow White in Snow White, Suzette in Don't Dress for Dinner and Chava in Fiddler on the Roof. She would like to thank her family for their love and support. |

Brooklyn Tahler Smith (Beth) is extremely excited to be in Little Women. She is currently in 7th grade, and attends Shadow Ridge Middle School in Flower Mound. She is new to GLCT, but is eager to be in as many plays as she can. Last year she was in Once Upon a Wolf at school, also directed by Shannon Johnston. In her spare time Brooklyn enjoys volleyball, reading, church choir, writing and loves to talk and laugh with friends. |

Stephanie Fischer (Amy) is thrilled to make her debut on the GLCT stage! She
just finished performing as Shy in The Best Little Whorehouse in
Texas with Music Theatre of Denton. Other favorite productions she's
been a part of are Peter Pan, Footloose, The Will Roger's Follies,
South Pacific, State Fair, and Unexpected Tenderness. Stephanie was
crowned Miss Hemisphere 2007-2008 in July. She would like to thank the
cast and crew of Little Women for this opportunity and her family,
friends and Chris for their constant love and support! |

Laura Jones (Mrs. March) is thrilled to be returning to GLCT, having previously performed in Enchanted April and Much Ado About Nothing. Laura’s other recent work includes Run for Your Wife, The Mousetrap, and Dearly Departed. Laura would like to thank her husband Keith, and children Alex and Veronica for their support and encouragement. |

Lionel Johnston (Mr. March) is thilled to be making his debut here at GLCT. Passed credits include various films TV and commercials. He has been a
theatrr dad for umpteen years and is excited to be working with his two wonderful children Shannon and Matt. He wishes to appologize
to the entire cast and crew for the numerous disruptions and distractions caused by David and Matthew during rehearsals. |

Matt Johnston (Laurie) is happy to be in his first performance at GLCT. Other favorite productions of his include Picasso at the Lapin Agile, True West, and Brighton Beach Memoirs, for which he received a Leon Rabin Award nomination by the Dalls Theatre Leagur for Best Supporting Actor. Matt attended the University of Mississippi for two years, and now is a part-time student from time to time at various campuses around the Metroplex. He would love to thank his family, but they are all involved in this show in one way or another, so he'll do that later.

David Jones (John Brooke) appears here in his first play since Bill Clinton was President, during which time he learned everything he knows about acting from watching Clinton on tv. David has played Daddy Warbucks in Annie and Lloyed Fellowes in Noises Off. More recently, he has reprised his role of Attorner in various productions of Texas State Court. I also get the honor of working with my lovely and
talented girlfriend Shannon on this production. |

Lana Hilton (Aunt March) returns to GLCT after eleven years. In 1996,
Lana played Aunt March in
Little Women. Other plays done for GLCT are The Bad Seed and The Dining
Room. Lana has acted and directed in well known
productions such as The Children's Hour, Mame, Oklahoma, and Louder, I Can't Hear
You. Lana is a native Oklahoman and won the prestigious "Best Acting" award
from the southwestern region while still in high school. She is a graduate
of Southwestern Oklaoma State University and has a degree in speech
and drama. Lana and her husband, Jay, and their granddaughter, Kailtyn,
reside in Lewisville and are active in their church and the school.

Eric Rodgers (Professor Bhaer) was a hyperactive child and instead of drugs, his mother put him in dancing, singing, acting (and various sports) classes at a very young age. He has worked with the Bedford Community Theater, the Coppell Theater, Dallas Theater Center, and several others throughout the DFW Metroplex. For GLCT, Eric has played Miles Gloriosus in Funny Thing Happened...Forum, Starbuck in The Rainmaker and several others. He has also been in a few local commercials and was a policeman on Walker Texas Ranger for 12 episodes. "As a young boy, Little Women was a Christmas movie tradition and I'm thrilled to be a part of this production. I would like to dedicate this performance to my overly-proud and always-on-my-side mother, Patricia."

Jennifer Atkins (Hannah) is making her GLCT debut and is super excited! A product of LISD schools, she began acting in high school where her favorite role was Liesl in The Sound of Music. Jennifer has lived in Lewisville since she was 5 years old and now teaches reading at Shadow Ridge Middle School in Flower Mound. Jennifer is mother to 3 ˝ year old Connor and wife to Andy. During her “spare time” (yeah right!) she loves to read, see movies, and spend time with her amazing friends and family. |

Ted Reis ( Mr. Laurence) returns for his second appearance on the GLCT stage. His first was as Linus Larrabee Sr. in our production of Sabrina. He has acted in and directed over 100 plays and musicals in a variety of theatres from upstate New York to Laramie, Wyoming. Among his favorite roles played are Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Michael Rowen in The Kentucky Cycle, and Hook in Peter Pan. Being a good guy is unusual for him as he specializes in villains and fallen preachers. |

Shannon Johnston (Director) is making her directorial debut at GLCT with this production. She has appeared in several shows at GLCT, including Sylvia, To Kill a Mockingbird, and 84 Charing Cross Road . In her spare time Shannon is a theatre arts teacher in Flower Mound. Shannon is thrilled to have this opportunity to direct this classic story, and especially to be able to work with her fantastic dad, brother and boyfriend David. Huge thanks and much love to them, and to the entire cast and crew for making this such a wonderful experience.

Connie Salsman (Assistant Director, etc) continues her efforts in the background to make every show at GLCT something to be proud of and to rejoice in. November marks her 7th anniversary at GLCT where she has worked in various capacities on over 30 shows. She is not above calling on her family to help out and they are not above pitching in, so she owes a BIG thanks to her Mom and Dad on this one. She is always thankful to have the love and support of her husband, Rick, and for the patience of her family. |
